FSC International has approved the Guidance Document FSC-GUI-60-002 Version 1-0 FSC Controlled Wood risk assessment by FSC National Initiatives. This document aims to support FSC accredited National Initiatives (NIs) that voluntarily decide to conduct a risk assessment of a given country or district. Risk assessments developed by NIs do not eliminate the need for companies to reach their own conclusions with regards to risk, but can constitute valuable supporting information.
